In Coherence Coaching, we don't work against symptoms, but rather uncover what makes them necessary to have on an internal level. Instead of learning strategies for controlling, suppressing, or "functioning," we make the underlying emotional patterns visible and thereby changeable.

What makes it special is that when inner contradictions resolve, change doesn't occur through willpower, but sustainably – without constant resistance and without typical relapses. Coherence Coaching is particularly suitable for issues surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, parenthood, separation, and other phases of profound change.

Many pregnant people experience these fears particularly intensely: the fear of pain, the feeling of being helpless and vulnerable in the hospital, or the worry of not being a good parent afterward. These feelings can put a strain on daily life and shake confidence in one's own body and in the upcoming birth. Fighting against these fears rarely leads to a genuine sense of security.

In coherence coaching, we work differently. I guide you in recognizing the meanings behind your fears. Together, we explore why these feelings arise, what inner conflicts or past experiences influence them, and how they manifest physically and emotionally. In this way, you can experience, step by step, what it can feel like to go through childbirth feeling strong and empowered, to be held and supported, to develop greater trust in your own body, and to gain clarity on how you can best support yourself and your child.

Instead of fighting against fear, we create a space where it is understood – and where you gradually feel that you can better perceive and utilize your strengths and your potential. Learn to understand the inner meanings of a stressful or traumatic birth so that guilt, shame, or inner distance can dissolve and a greater connection with yourself, your baby, and your family can be restored

"I FEEL LIKE I FAILED BECAUSE I COULDN'T GIVE BIRTH 'NORMALLY'"

This is a phrase many people say after a difficult or intervention-heavy birth. It often lingers for a long time – even when doctors say everything "went well".

You might find it difficult to bond with your baby, that breastfeeding doesn't feel right or is even stressful, or that you're emotionally distancing yourself without understanding why. Some people also describe feeling like strangers to their partners or family members because no one truly understands what they've been through – and what still lingers within them.

You're told, "main thing is the baby is healthy".
And yes – of course that's important. But at the same time, another, quiet question arises: "Doesn't anybody even care about me?"
This internal tension often remains unresolved and is rarely honestly examined.

Coherence coaching focuses precisely on this inner logic. We don't just look at the event of birth, but at the meaning that has developed from it: What has your experience "taught" you about yourself, your body, your role as a parent, or about closeness and trust? Why does connection sometimes feel difficult, even though you desire it? Why does your inner self react to certain situations with withdrawal, sadness, or inner emptiness?

Instead of correcting or ignoring these reactions, we make them understandable. When it becomes clear how meaningful these inner truths are, something can change – not through pressure or positive thinking, but through a new understanding.

This creates space to bring yourself back into what has happened and to slowly experience more connection again – with yourself, with your baby and with the people around you.

Besides the grief over the end of the relationship, there is often a deep inner turmoil: feelings of guilt, self-doubt, and constantly questioning your own decision. "Am I being selfish?", "Am I harming my children?", "Am I failing as a parent?" These inner questions take up so much space that only little energy remains to clearly and effectively address the very real issues – dealing with the children, communicating with the ex-partner, financial worries, or the fear of the future.

 

In Coherence coaching, we start precisely here. Not with quick fixes or "you just have to be strong," but with the inner meanings that underlie this guilt and these self-doubts. Together, we explore what makes these feelings so compelling —and what they are trying to protect or prevent internally. When these dynamics are understood, a noticeably greater sense of inner space often emerges.

 

And this space makes all the difference: When you're no longer constantly preoccupied with questioning yourself or feeling guilty, it becomes possible to think more clearly, react more calmly, and make pragmatic decisions more consciously . Dealing with the children, conversations with your ex, questions about the future – all of this doesn't automatically become easy, but it becomes more manageable and focused because you're no longer working against yourself internally.
