All the advice from well-meaning people around us doesn't always help. As a doula, I take the time to get to know you personally during your pregnancy . This way, I can help you create a customized birth plan that includes multiple scenarios so you feel optimally prepared for the birth.

During labor—whether in the hospital, birthing center, or at home—I'll be there to provide you with one-on-one support . In addition to helping with positioning, breathing, etc. , it's also my role to ensure that your wishes are taken seriously by the medical staff and that you feel free to trust your body . I can also accompany you during your first breastfeeding session , because the first hour after birth is incredibly important for developing a positive breastfeeding relationship!
